Technically, yes. Practically, ask yourself how many men initiate no fault divorces. I know that there are some, but they are the minority.

Doesn't mean they are still in the marriage. Men get unhappy and bored and want out of marriages too, they just usually have no real motivation to do the paperwork.

Yeah, like my ex-... he would not initiate the divorce. Just fooled around, told me he wanted to be weekend dad, didn’t want to have to mow the grass, didn’t show up for things for the kids because he was at the bar. Then after 2 years of that and an attempt at counseling, I finally filed for divorce. Then he kept saying it was my idea to get divorced, still tells people that all these years later.

My husband did after almost 30 years of marriage. I know several others who did to be with other women just like he did.

Our daughter has had nothing to do with him since he left and told him that every time he looked a the other woman she wants him and his family to know that it cost them their relationship with her.
