Of course politicians will be exempt. They are far too important to have these rules applied to them.

The five-year goals will cost the UK $24 billion a year for the next 42 years, and it will also ensure that future governments are held responsible for this current legislation

I'm sure that future Parliaments will appreciate this once the scam is finally forced out into the open.

I have worked in England. The air around London is terrible. The smog is bad. The could use more cleanup but carbon credits are stupid.

The only way I can see that the $24 billion lowering carbon emissions is that the poor taxpayer won’t have the money to spend.

Here is the world after 2012. This is the result of plate tectonic activity, not global warming. England won't need carbon allowances on its few remanining islands.

If Carbons are truly the problem, then Plants are the answer. So ask yourself, why rain forests are being demolished to grow biofuel?

Exactly. The scam is really about increasing government's control over our lives. Its never been about reducing carbon emissions. And every one knows a carbon trading scheme will not reduce climate overheating by one degree. But it will rob us of our God-given freedom.

Water vapor being a potent greenhouse effect gas, will I be ordered to stop breathing if I have reached my quota?

“The government, though, would want to regulate those carbon credit transfers in order to keep this trading out of the evil for-profit private marketplace.”

They don’t need the competition.

I wonder if there is a black market opportunity?

I bet more people will be moving out than moving in the UK.
