The issue is one of divide and conquer.
All the fruitless candidates are sucking the potential for the top tier candidates to beat Giuliani.
Giuliani is defeat, he is the hillary clone.
We would not vote for hillary in the general election, there is no reason to vote for hillary in the GOP primary.
No Giuliani, NO PROBLEM.

Hardly an analysis. You're saying the second tier candidates suck because they are picking each other off. I'd suggest they can't get traction because people find flaws with them just as they do with Rudy---only none of them have the key numbers he has in BEATING Hillary (again, aside from McCain, in the SurveyUSA polls).
And, no, Rudy is not "defeat." Hillary is defeat, and Rudy is in no way a clone, any more than Bush was an Algore "clone."
