Giving birth is a burden on the world. This is according to British born, Toni Vernelli, 35, who had an abortion 10 years ago to ensure her carbon footprint would be kept to a minimum, the U.K.'s Daily Mail reported Sunday.
Vernelli -- who works for an environmental charity -- was later sterilized to help "protect the planet", the Mail reported.
"Having children is selfish. It's all about maintaining your genetic line at the expense of the planet," Vernelli told the Daily Mail, adding she believes bringing new life into the world only adds to the problem.
The Mail also reported that Sara Irving, 31, also underwent sterilization to because she felt "a baby would pollute the planet".
Irvings become an environmentalist as a teenager, it was reported, when she realized saving the environment was her top and foremost priority in life. After going through several boyfriends she finally found her now husband Mark Hudson who is also an advocate of the no kids policy, according to the Mail.

This is the same socialist policy only using different means to justify it.
Too bad her dad didn’t think to save the planet.
This...ahem...”woman” is doing us a favor. She’s voluntarily not reproducing, thus dirtying the gene pool with additional smug, self-righteous, delusional idiots.
Seems to me that suicide would be this bitch’s greatest gift to the planet.
She had an abortion 10 years ago for whatever selfish reasons she chose to use then. Now she has a new, more popular excuse.
AMEN!!!!
Yeah, people are such a cancer on the planet. They have no part or role here. Lets just let the rats, bunnies, wild dogs and cockroaches take over and everything will be blissful.
It’s good that this bimbo didn’t have children, but on the other hand, hippies sometimes have children that become Republicans or Punk Rockers, the oppposite of mummy and daddy.
I guess she hasn’t counted on ceding the planet to the Republicans having large families and finally displacing all the whining socialists and envirowackos. I don’t think she thought that one out. Gee, too bad. One less socialistenvirowacko to kick around.
The environmental psychosis that pervades the western world these days is frightening at times.
HE’s the only One Who can.
This is just an attempt to rationalize one’s own evil and selfishness.
Amen to that!
There are two things that I find common to many liberals and their pet causes: usually the liberals believe that they must save the world (as if the world needs saving), and because the liberals refuse to grow their groups organically (by having children of their own), they tend to target the children of others, mostly non-liberals, for indoctrination and participation in their nonsensical schemes.
Also, the liberals usually end up creating more problems rather than solving them...and then they blame someone else for the problems, which they leave to others to fix.
I’ll pay for her to make a phone call to Dr. Kervorkian. Then she can really reduce her carbon footprint, since all living humans exhale carbon dioxide.
True. What this woman doesn't seem to get is that child she should have had and cared for was someone. He could have been a great scientist to help solve energy problems, or he could have been someone that didn't contribute much. Either way, the child was created in the image of God, with a will and an intellect.
saving the environment

Exactly - thanks for sterilization!!!!
The problem is that these folks run the universities, public school systems, entertainment industry and news media, thus turning many of our children into smug, self-righteous, delusional idiots.
