Terrorists `Just Hoodlums
The greatest threat to the nation, Paul said, is an overextension of the U.S. military and ``involvement in places we shouldnt be. Terrorism shouldnt be fought by waging war on nations, he said. Terrorists are ``just hoodlums and convicts, so to speak, but we incite them with our foreign policy, he said.

What the he!! kind of post was that? Are you drunk?
“You’re kidding...right?”
Answer the damn question.
Almost all of your points are incorrect but let me just address one. Ron Paul has sponsored and co-sponsored many bills that address illegal immigration, including ending birthright citizenship.
Perhaps you should just say: "We don't care who military personnel support--they're just 'paultards'!"
The number-one fund raiser from military personnel is Dr. Ron Paul. Also, donations from military personnel used to be 3/4 going to Republicans, and now are closer to 50-50 going to the Dems!
And what's most laughable is the way you say: "those who support the military" like it's not those who support Ron Paul. Funny, he gets LOTS of support from the military on the home front, too.
Those who disparage Dr. Paul's support of the military end up looking very foolish. He's a good American, strong supporter of the Constitution, and a conservative. You might have disagreement with him on foreign policy, but it's really quite sad that name-calling is your prime discussion point.
“Why can’t they just ignore him or oppose his views instead of the vicious personal attacks and lies? Why not support and build up their chosen candidate instead of trying to tear another one down?”
We’ve tried to ignore him, but you paultards keep spamming message boards with ron paul this, ron paul that, ron paul is the greatest thing since sliced bread, etc.
Funny how you paultards whine about personal attacks against paul but don’t bat an eye when it comes to the hatred that you direct towards everyone that hasn’t chugged down that ron paul koolaid after being spoonfed that heaping pile of BS of his.
And lies? What lies? So I guess letters that he either wrote or endorsed by publishing under his own name are now lies? I guess his voting records are lies too? Or everytime he opens his yap that it’s also lies?
Everything, EVERYTHING that’s been said about him is FACTUAL based on HIS writings, HIS voting record, HIS speeches and interviews, as well as information gleaned from other websites to INCLUDE pro-paul sites.
But God forbid that YOUR massah be questioned and held accountable for what he says and does the same way you paultards question the other candidates.
“Almost all of your points are incorrect”
Incorrect? So I guess he’s an empty suit who has someone else do the voting for him?
He's against "Jewish wars."
Houston now. I have lived in the Houston area for 30 years.
you’re still drunk, I presume?
You need to knock it off, NOW.
You are the one making false accusations and insults. You need to knock it off.
We do too. Except for Brazoria county I don’t know how far his district extends . Are you in his district now?
Below was an unprovoked attack by you.
I am not interested in communicating with a bully.

You have no clue what Texans think. You are unworthy to even pontificate on what Texans should do.
Stop Ron Paul? WHY????
Let’s stop you instead.

“LOL! I really shouldn’t reply, as I note that after I called you on your fictitious claims against Dr. Paul on a previous thread, you haven’t provided a single citation. But maybe just a brief reply...”
What “ficticious” claims on what other thread?
I don’t recall having any interactions with you on another thread unless you’re posting under multiple screen names.
“Perhaps you should just say: “We don’t care who military personnel support—they’re just ‘paultards’!””
As it’s been pointed out already, a GS-3 typing clerk in some cubicle in the Pentagon would show up as being “military” according to paul.
“The number-one fund raiser from military personnel is Dr. Ron Paul.”
Wrong, it’s obama.
“Also, donations from military personnel used to be 3/4 going to Republicans, and now are closer to 50-50 going to the Dems!”
Yeah and it’s still early in the game.
“And what’s most laughable is the way you say: “those who support the military” like it’s not those who support Ron Paul.”
Those who truly support the military DO NOT support paul or his chickensh*t cut and run code pink influenced views.
“Funny, he gets LOTS of support from the military on the home front, too.”
So says you. If one were to break down the donations from the “military” and average it out to $250 per donation he only has “support” from around 6,000 to 7,000 “military” types. And seeing how far the paul supporters go in trying to prop up that village idiot, makes me wonder just how many really are “military” to begin with. I mean anyone can make a donation and put down military as an employer and it’s not like the paul campaign is going to screen those donations anyways.
“Those who disparage Dr. Paul’s support of the military end up looking very foolish.”
Oh BS! ron paul DOES NOT support the military.
He has voted time and time and time again against pay raises, quality of life improvements, and equipment funding.
He has damn near the same voting record on military issues as john kerry for Christ’s sake.
“He’s a good American”
A “good American” doesn’t go and blame America for 9/11.
“strong supporter of the Constitution, and a conservative.”
He’s not a strong supporter of the Constitution because he fails on providing for it’s defense IE funding the military.
He’s not a conservative either when he is ranked DEAD LAST among the other Republicans from Texas, and is tied with John McCain according to the ACU.
Hell there are Republicans from liberal states who are more conservative than paul is.
“You might have disagreement with him on foreign policy”
No, I disagree with ALL his policies.
The ONLY way he’ll be able to enact upon just one of his promises is to become a dictator like hugo chavez.
I disagree with his support of the NAFTA Superhighway.
I disagree with his willingness to just cut agency after agency willie nillie without any consideration to what sort of after effect it will cause. What’s going to happen when he eliminates the FAA? I mean the FAA was never mentioned in the Constitution was it? So therefore by his own “rule of thumb” he’s going to give them the axe too will he not? And if he doesn’t then that means he lied about limiting government and eliminating everything not covered under the Constitution.
I disagree with his two faced views by claiming that he’s against earmarks, but requests $400 million worth of them.
I disagree with his tacit approval of allowing minors to cross state lines to seek abortions.
I disagree with his pandering to the trial lawyers and gun control advocates by voting against limitations on frivilous lawsuits as well as lawsuits against gun owners and manufacturers.
I disagree with his view that terrorism is only a law enforcement matter and that the military shouldn’t be involved. I seem to recall that was once our policy for 8 years and I also seem to recall that it didn’t turn out so well either.
The ONLY thing I remotely agree with is the issue of taxes. BUT on the flip side if he eliminates taxes and the IRS how is the government going to fund oh let’s say the military? Hmm? Is paul going to go squat behind a bush somewhere to get the revenue to pay for the military or is he just going to hold a bunch of bake sales?
His quaint little ideas may have been “sound policies” 100 years ago, but today with the threats and challenges we face it would be a death sentance for all of us.
That's exactly how I feel.
The more I read of these attempts to smear Paul, the more I want to vote for him, since his accusers have nothing to counter Paul's reasonings with except name-calling and ridicule.
I tend to believe they cannot counter Paul's ideas any other way, because Paul's ideas must be correct.
that’s a great pic!
