Its five strands of diamonds covered her decolletage and made the Queen's jewels look quite modest as they attended the Queen's banquet for the Commonwealth Heads of Government in Kampala, Uganda, on Friday.

But Camilla didn't deliberately set out to overshadow her mother-in-law - the Queen gave her permission to borrow it from the royal collection.

Camilla's favourite couturier, Anna Valentine, designed her a simple duck-egg blue dress and matching stole to set off the necklace, estimated to be worth tens of millions of dollars.

The Duchess added the Queen Mother's Boucheron tiara, a set of diamond earrings and the Queen Elizabeth II Family Order, given to female members of the royal family.

Our Founders fought a bloody war to be rid of these leeches. Of what value is it to care about their empty and pathetic lives? They produce nothing, they offer nothing, they consume and return only what exits their bowels.

To H&ll with the "royals" and their irrelevant existence.

Long live OUR Republic and freedom from royal abuse.

Now, if we could only get rid of our own domestic bloodsuckers.

My thought was "horse blanket" whether it's a pretty shade of blue or not. She looks fashionable in post 128 but that blue thing is a horror! The thing on her right shoulder is a sash. Nasty dress.........even without the sash.

This article doesn't make you thankful they did?

Are you asking me to choose either Hildebeast or 'Camilla, the #6 horse at Pimlico'?

What kind of "choice" would that be!?!

She looks like she’s trying to hide the horrible wrinkles on her neck and of course is failing miserably at doing so!

... finally broke up with the beauty to marry her speaks well of her character.

I'm sorry Fairview but you've got a warped idea of character. Camilla, while married to another man, broke up her family to pursue an adulterous affair with Charles. Two families were destroyed by her, and Charles's, total lack of character.

Right. To throw over Diana for this one? Yikes.

Several pictures from the past reveal that Camilla has not had much dental work done - ever. Hard to figure why not.

And what is that red thing tied around her arm/wrist?

Ohmigawd. That's a Kaballah bracelet (think West Coast New Age -y kind of Jewish religion - Madonna is a 'believer') . Does the Queen know her daughter-in-law has gone Jewish?!

“Is she missing a front tooth???”

I think that the tooth is there, but the nerve is dead and that’s why it’s discolored.

Agreed that the Kaballah thing is a bigger deal than anything. All the more reason for Bonnie Prince Charlie never to have an opportunity to get to the Big Show as King. Who wants a Jewish Queen Consort as a partner for the British King?!

Hard for a seven year old to appreciate that beauty is not everything. There was absolutely no meeting of the minds between Charles and Diana.

For the country it was a good choice - gave Charles two sons, but a disaster for him.

As a rather cynical male friend says "sooner or later you have to talk to them"

According to my best friend's daughter - who works for Prince Charles - Camilla is warm, friendly and much liked by those who have regular dealings with her.

This woman is in her 50s, and looks it.

She'll be 60 shortly and has a TON more wrinkles than my 85 year old mother-in-law. The big difference is that Camilla has spent a LOT more time outside in the sun and obviously didn't wear a headshade that would protect her skin.

She was married to another when she started her liaison with Charles.

No.... Camilla and Charles were an item long before she wed Andrew Parker Bowles. He was her second choice.

Personally, I think she's a bit too old for the decolletage.
Not attractive.

“I take it all the men commenting here look like Antonio Banderas dressed by Giorgio Armani.”

LOL! That’s tellin’ em! (as he sits typing dressed in sweats and fuzzy slippers)

I never mentioned Shrillary. I said the antics of royals made one glad their ancestors fought the Revolution.

Send these royals back home to Prussia where they belong. I can’t stand their German accents!
