This is the part that stinks:

But now Aldrete-Davila has been arrested again. He's charged with (surprise, surprise) marijuana trafficking. This, while profiting from the federal-immunity deal.
Per some reports, Aldrete-Davila pocketed well over $1Million from the US Government for his services in testifying against Ramos and Compean.

I have not read a single thing that says he’s being paid for his participation. So do you have a link to these stories?

Or maybe you are confusing the medical care he’s received to treat his wounds from what has been ruled an illegal shooting. Not that it matters, because United States policy is to provide medical treatment for all people who are shot by our law enforcement officers, regardless of whether the shooting was valid or not.

His injuries were severe, so I guess it’s possible, but not likely, that the total medical bill would add up to a million.

And of course, that treatment would not be conditioned on his testimony, so the statement would still be false.

There was a mention of how Sutton was going to help him with a 5-million-dollar lawsuit. I’ve heard nothing of that. Sutton dismissed that saying what he wanted to do was arrest him for drug smuggling. Sutton’s detractors scoffed at that, saying Sutton would never put his “good buddy” drug smuggler in jail.

Now of course Sutton HAS arrested him for drug smuggling, so we can see who was right and who was wrong on that matter.
