Agreed. It is incrementalism on China's part.

I will see what Japanese military analysts are saying on Japanese language blogs today.

Just a thought. Taipei is quite close and they would be delighted to see the USN. I would be able to put the Chicoms howls to music.

I hope the admirals aren’t just figuring out that China is not now...and never has been....our friend.

Yes that’s probably right. We find out they put poison in toys they ship us and they feel the need for vengeance when we (gasp) talk negatively about it.

Speaking of Japan, the PLAN made their first-ever warship port visit to Tokyo this week.

If I am not mistaken the Chinese destroyer is still tied up at Harumi Pier right now.

They push us out of HK and move in on Tokyo.

Interesting coincidence — or is it?

I can't even imagine how exciting this would be. Maybe like getting shoes that fit perfectly after wearing clumsy, floppy, too-big shoes forEVER?

I'm really happy for you, airborne. Can you share pictures with us when you get 'er done?

Don’t these white shoe Nave types know when they are getting bitch slapped? Jeeshe. Why are the admirals doing the abused wife drill?
