As you sit down to Thanksgiving dinner today, please remember to thank Hilda Berrios, Steve Siegel, and Humberto Garcia for this child's rescue.

It’s good to see the system apparently working in a case, instead of being used by nosy busy-bodies or divorcing spouses who want to screw their exes.

If you read between the lines, this is one smart kid. His parents ditch him in the car, and he goes to look for food.

Wow, 37 pounds??
My six year old weighs 38 lbs and she is a dwarf (size of nearly 3 1/2 yr old), I can’t imagine how thin that normal size boy must have been.
Poor thing. Can I please please put my cigs out in these women’s ears. Or other cavities?

Why were two lesbians taking care of this boy?
It sounds like they were expressing their hatred towards men by abusing this boy.
This boy’s parents also have some explaining to do.

Each also accused the other of refusing to feed the boy and refusing to send him to school because they feared teachers would see his injuries.I wondered why no one else had stepped into help - no one else saw him.
What a tragedy. With that type of damage done so early in life, he will struggle forever emotionally. If anyone deserves life in prison, it is these two bitches.

According to Baker County Sheriff Joey B. Dobson, investigators don't know how Stevenson gained custody of the boy. What they have learned, Dobson said, is that the boy's father obtained custody of the boy in California. But the father gave the boy to his aunt, who raised him with her partner, Stevenson. Dobson said the aunt died and then Stevenson and the child moved to Baker County. Poor kid. God Bless those who recognized a problem and came to his aid.

When interviewed by Baker County investigators, Stevenson and Martin blamed each other. Each said the other bound the child's wrists and nailed them to the wall, where he was forced to stand for hours. Each also accused the other of refusing to feed the boy and refusing to send him to school because they feared teachers would see his injuries.Time to clean up the gene pool, fair trial, ONE appeal, quick execution, unmarked grave, preferable at the county dump

Bet they are lesbians with the man hating grudge most lesbians have, though not all torture boys. This country is dying quick;y.

This country is going to have a lot more cases like this in the future, personally I think any household of this “type” that has a boy involved should have mandatory observations done by a health care officer on a very frequent basis.
its probably happening already.
Sounds like culling to me.

Prayers up for this baby and God help the two perps - may they rot in hell!! Good work to the staff who rescued this poor guy.

See now, this is the sort of story that makes the whole discussion of abuse so complicated.
(I’m making these numbers up from my impression, so....) for every ten stories of overzealous, intrusive, statist CPS workers/busybody neighbors, there’s one of these gut-wrenching, pathetic stories of genuine abuse.
If one of my neighbors notices one of my (homeschooled) kids isn’t in the government re-education center, he can report us anonymously and make our lives miserable. That’s wrong; and it happens.
But what’s the better system? Something has to allow for the rescue of poor little lambs like this poor, poor kid.
That’s one for which I haven’t come up with a simple, one-size-fits-all solution that would work in the real world.

THIS Thanksgiving he can eat and watch the parades like a normal child. May God continue to bless his life.

As you sit down to dinner, may you also look upon your young loved ones with protective eyes and vow that
your humanity never disappears, as it has with these two wastes of "human" skin.
No young child should ever be treated as less than human.
