That’s what I was thinking. Gee thanks, guys.

On the other hand, liberty is liberty and the Sailors and Marines of the battlegroup deserve the rest.

I doubt very many of them are going to be thinking about turkey and dressing anyhow.

How long they been at sea? I think some form of "dressing" might have been on their minds. ;)

a decision out of humanitarian consideration only China doing something out of "humanitarian consideration?" Obvious lie.

Maybe the Chicoms really needed to buy time to debug their system for hacking into the carrier's computers.

From Reuters:

But it was too late to save the holiday visit. A U.S. official said the trip has since been scrapped and the ships continued steaming to their Japanese base.

I think it would be best if the Navy avoided Chinese ports in the future. Less revenue for the Chinese. There are other East Asian cities that are as hospitable to American sailors. Singapore, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur come to mind.

Sorry — you may no longer sell your exports here.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

BUY AMERICAN.

I'm curios as to exactly what percentage of the goods from China that everyone is so against are actually manufactured for AMERICAN companies?

Just heard on F&F that the Navy has decided NOT to enter Hong Kong and headed back out to sea.

Great!!! That is how to play the game... absolutely correct.

There are one or more local party boys getting or about to get their a$$ beat lol.

Couldn’t happen to nicer fellas:).

Unfortunately quite a few families flew into Hong Kong to share Thanksgiving with their loved ones.

“China needs to realize whose economy is fueling theirs”

I am so angry about the situation, I think an all and all out boycott of china’s precious bejing games would be the way to go here. If our service men and women were not good enough to set foot on their land, an appropriate response woould be that no US citizen give them dollars for the olympics.
