The Securities and Exchange Commission has launched an investigation into InfoUSA, a Nebraska company that used corporate funds to fly Hillary Rodham Clinton around the country, and one of only two companies to put Bill Clinton on its payroll after he left the White House.The firm, a major provider of database-processing services, disclosed little about the nature of the probe in a filing to shareholders released yesterday.
The two-sentence filing said only that InfoUSA received a letter last week "informing the Company that the SEC is conducting an informal investigation . . . and is requesting the voluntary production of documents relating to related party transactions, expense reimbursement, other corporate expenditures and certain trading in the Company's securities."
Calls to an InfoUSA spokesman were not returned. Mark C. Hansen, a Washington lawyer for the company's founder, Vinod Gupta, did not return calls late yesterday. Nor did an official in the SEC's Denver office, where the probe was initiated.

Nice metaphor. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter if the rug looks like it's covering a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the left/MSM will still ignore it and attack anyone with the temerity to bring it up. Of course, their audience is shrinking week by week, but that seems not to matter either.
The stench of corruption literally surrounds the Clintons, and yet the Mainstream Media in America simply ignores it, while treating these people like gods, or rock stars...
If this had been, say... TOM DELAY, we’d be getting hourly updates as to the status of the investigation...

Going by memory here, so forgive me if I haven’t any links please.
No mention of the fact that in a report of days gone by Gupta had abused the stockholders of InfoUSA during his acquisition of (Can’t remember the name of the Polling company he acquired then made a deal with CNN-Dang!)OCS or something like that.
Perhaps somebody can link that report to this article as that abuse seems to be overlooked in the articles presentation of reasons for such an investigation.

Well this is good news. Now will the Clintonistas still in the SEC manage to keep the truth quashed or will they expose the criminal behavior here. Of course this investigation will take longer than we have before the election of 2008, likely. But at least it is being investigated.
