Rice Chili Verde
3 cups cooked rice,
1/2lb Monterrey jack cheese.. cut in strips..(I used shredded this time)
one pint sour cream
1 small can chopped green chiles
1/4 c parmesan cheese
Mix sour cream, green chilies..1/4 t salt to taste
Layer first rice, sour cream mixture, layer of jack cheese..repeat.. ending with rice in about a one and a half quart baking dish.
Bake about 25 minutes in 350 degree oven.
Sprinkle top w parmesan cheese..return to oven about 5 minutes or until cheese melts.................................
Scoop way down to get layers when serving
(Just had a long phone call..! Sorry to be so late in replying.)
