We have another audio dispute, so we need to consult our esteemed panel of sound experts! The following refers to the time when the driver was still in the vehicle:

Poster A says:

Listen to the tape very carefully, and you can hear the driver say "No, you're not".

Poster B says:

Ok... I've listened 3 more times... with my Bose sound-cancelling head phones... I just DON'T hear that. I do hear the driver saying, "No, I'm not".... I think, to whether or not he will sign the ticket.

Who is right?

I see that you already answered that in #663!

Massey: No, I'm not. I'm not signing anything.

He's saying that he will not sign the ticket. He doesn't believe he was speeding. The cop doesn't make it clear from the beginning exactly what the speed is that the guy was clocked going.

This cop handled the situation poorly from the time he approached the driver. He took it to a place it never needed to go.
