I bet my Dad, who is a stone cold liberal who claims he’s an Independent, 5 bucks at 20 to 1 odds last March Fred would take the nomination. I think I’m out 5 bucks. I sent Fred some money early on but he is not exciting me. I want to see a lot of that in your face criticism of the left he is capable of. He’s not producing. I’m lost. Hunter is great but mismanaged. Who should I root for at this point? I need someone to lead me...
Hang in there, you’ll get your hunnerd bucks.

I dont, Thompson said, get up in the morning and rush for the paper to see what I can say about her. And, at the end of the day, Id rather be known not for being against someone, but for standing for something.
I think he's doing a great job of that, as even NR has had to admit.
