The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Rudy Giuliani with a ten-point lead in the race for the Republican Presidential Nomination. Giuliani attracts 24% support from Likely Republican Primary voters nationwide while Fred Thompson remains at 14%. Mitt Romney earns the vote from 13% while Mike Huckabee is the top choice for 12%. John McCain is close behind at 11%, Ron Paul's is at 6% and no other Republican candidate reaches 2% (see recent daily numbers).

maybe he has stopped the bleeding....but looks like he could use a transfusion. His campaign is looking anemic
Well, it’s doing better than Romney and for considerably less than the tens-of-millions spent by Romney to date trying to create a false image as a conservative.
Well for a candidate that has spent the millions that Mitt has spent and been in the race since the beginning of time, I’d say his campaign is completely lackluster!
That’s a rough poll. Hard to believe that no conservative is polling significantly above Huckabee and McCain.
Ran out of blood.
Hunter and Tancredo are officially not on the Arkansas primary ballot. We should soon see some changes in the numbers. Strong conservatives that supported Hunter and Tancredo are gonna have to go somwhere and it aint gonna be for Rudith, Juan, Mitt or Mike.
Stanched or embraced?
I love that joke : )
Why has he been bleeding anyway? I can understand Hillary losing ground to Obama after the whole driver’s license/planted question thing, but what of Fred? He’s bleeding and he hasn’t even tripped up, meaning he sucks on his best day.
After the pounding Fred took in October from the liberal media and GOP malcontents, I think a rebound might be in the cards. Some Republicans ran to Huckabee and some went to Paul. Two candidates with no chance of getting the nomination.
And Rooty`s loving every minute of it. Whether it was Giuliani’s intention or not, this obvious split among conservatives continues to be working in his favor. His 25%-30% support is holding. That still leaves 65%-70% who don’t support him.
I think it’s safe to say it won’t go to Ron Paul either. Thanks for the good news. When is the Arkansas primary?
Huckabee has got to go.
And Paul too!
Hes bleeding ...Not now he's not, and his best days are yet to come.
Huckabee’s record won’t stand up to scrutiny. We already see his campaign stalled.

Read John Fund's take on the Huckster: Another Man From Hope : Who is Mike Huckabee?
FReeper PoliticalMom also has a an excellent take exposing Huckabee's anti-conservative record.
I tend to agree. These numbers indicate there are still 15-20% undecided, and I’m also convinced that a lot of Rudy’s support is by default because many are not paying attention yet.
The primaries are too g$#damn early.
