You can read about their organization, the Music Row Democrats," here.
Personally, I don't recognize anybody, but admitedly, I'm no Country Music fan.
The list of so-called country artists sound like internet wanna be’s to me.
ONLY when they take this mandolin from my cold dead hands.
Bluegrass Gospel, forever.
“Personally, I don’t recognize anybody, but admitedly, I’m no Country Music fan.”
I like country. Never heard of any of them.
Some of the titles look like nothing more than “hate-songs”.
Thought you’d like this one.
How are you?
Dissapointing about McGraw. I’m going to burn my copy of Flika.
The Maverics are the only name I recognized. I think of them is married to a Dixie Chick, but I could be wrong.
I have lived in Nashville and worked in the music business for 21 years and I only know of about 5 if them.
More songs about cheatin’ and drinkin’, less about God and country, I guess.
Were in a war and Southerners have a tendency to be patriotic. But a lot of them are beginning to see that patriotism does not mean supporting a bad war.
It’s a great time for these Democrat singers to come out, now that the war is coming at an end in our favor! Just what country fans need, their own singers trying to shove their politics down their throat instead of shutting up and singing! By all means Democrat singers, sell country fans on Hillary (she’s so popular in countryland, I’m sure!!!). For my part, I was a fan of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and for some reason have lost my taste for hearing both of them. It must be coincidence.
Lets see, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Collin Raye, Tracy Byrd, Daryl Worley, Sammy Kershaw, Martina McBride, Sarah Evans, Steve Wariner, Trace Adkins. Yup sound like a group of loyal america hating democrats to me.
Here’s the ones I’ve heard of:
1. Nanci Griffith - - she did a nice duet with the Counting Crows dude on ‘Going Back to Georgia’. She’s pretty good, but she’s no Iris DeMent.
2. James McMurtry - - son of novelist Larry McMurtry. One good song of his is, ‘Painting by Numbers’ from about twenty years ago.
3. The Mavericks - - pretty good band, been around awhile, but they are NOT Lynyrd Skynyrd (great Americans).
Oh boy, that will no doubt be a real "sell out".
I’m a huge country music fan and the only three I recognized are not true country - and certainly not superstars! Nanci Griffin is more bluegrass, Beth Nielson Chapman - the same; and the Mavericks are a bunch of guys from Miami - love their music - country it’s not! I still refuse to listen to or buy the DCs; still listen to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill but refuse to buy anything put out by them - don’t want to help finance the campaign of someone who says Hilary’s husband is the best prez we ever had.
Well my ol' dog died..

Naaah.
Nevermind.
It'll never fly, Orville.
That dog won't hunt.
Maybe Doug from Upland can do something with it...
Check out the song “Not Ready To End The Fight” by U.S. Marine David Thibodeaux. It’s an answer song to the Dixie Chicks’ song “Not Ready To Make Nice.”
His song is posted on his myspace page at: www.myspace.com/davidthibodeauxmusic
This should get Hillary the Dems excited!
