You can read about their organization, the Music Row Democrats," here.
Personally, I don't recognize anybody, but admitedly, I'm no Country Music fan.
The great majority of country Western performers love America, however most Democrats think that America is a greater threat to “world peas” than Osama and his minions in alqaeda.
And in other news, the Democrats are going to have a tour of black churches to show that all hymns and gospel music doesn’t belong to the religious right either. < / sarcasm >
They are just trying to pull more wool over our eyes. They are to smart to like country or at least think they are.
Most criminals and convicted felons are supporting hitlary and the 'RATs so I could see Merle tossing bouquets to the billing records butch.
Mrs. Clinton is no doubt waiting until Oct to give her heart to Jesus at the Potter's House, vowing to lead her husband to the Lord.
In his Hillary”, dedicated to the Democratic front runner, Haggard sings: This country needs to be honest/ Changes need to be large/ Something like a big switch of gender/ Let’s put a woman in charge.”
I’m a country music fan and don’t recognize most of these also.
I think the group is trying, without much help, to be recognized again. Sad to sell your soul to the devil just to sell a recor
They’ll have to re-work the Martina McBride anthem:
Let Freedom shrink
We’ll tell you what to think
Let the whole world know that today America’s turning pink
She’ll take from the rich
If we elect that bitch
Roll our rights away
Do what liberals say
It’s “In-the-left-wing Day”
Are they going to advise others of their ilk to get the necessary shots, first? You know...like when attending a NASCAR event?
I dont recognize all that many and I am a Country Music Fan
-and let’s not forget what country fans thought of the Dixie Chicks.......wonder how the FANS will react to this?
“Democrats to reclaim country music”
Good, the ‘Dixie Chics’ can get a new career boost!
Libs dominate the music business, so this should be surprise. Check out the 40th anniversary edition of Rolling Stone, which promotes one lib after another about anything but music. Gore, Clinton, Dixie Chicks and on and on.
And of course, the obtuse Bruce Springsteen, who wacky politics infect his talent worse than most. I happen to like a lot of his music, but the message is always the same:
Class warfare you can tap you foot to.
Like two dogs fighting over a worn out tennis shoe.
Who cares who wins?
Country is not as bad as rap or hop-hip, but more than that I am not willing to say.
That picture implies that those are the artists involved... until I looked closer and recognized a lot of dead people.
(Apologies to anyone offended by me calling Elvis dead.)
Well, I’m a Country music fan and I’ve never heard of any of these Turkeys either.
The only name I recognize here is Nanci Griffith, and she’s more of a folk singer than country singer.
To me, this partly reflects the disconnect between Nashville “country” (a/k/a overproduced pop music with guitars) and real country music, which by and large you do not hear on the radio. Next year, when the war is nearly won and more of our troops are on the way home, I believe an overt “anti-war” stance is not going to win over too many fans or sell many records.
