To the Honorable Sam Farr:

Today’s politics allows you to say you’re bringing the troops home when, in fact, you’re surrendering.

We have never had an enemy that willingly saws the heads of innocent persons, uses children as their shields, allows honor killings and the stoning of women. Now, you want to stop the fight against them and bring the troops home. What will happen after that?

You must have an answer to that. If not, you’re a coward who wants our nation to be known as cowardly. Don’t worry, your entire party seems to feel the same way.

The white flag democrats are betting our future on the willingness of the brutal people that they will respect our nation and never invade another country, especially our own. Tell me, how much are you willing to bet on such a proposition?

You just bet OUR lives.

Peace, Dude. Love, Dude.

I’m usually opposed to harsh partisan judgements, even on Free Republic. I have to admit, though, that you have posted one of the most detestable documents that I have ever seen.

What possible excuse can this man make for his betrayal of his nations interests during an armed conflict? The man has no sense of how others will judge him.

A more modest statement of his preference for the earlier ending of the U.S. role in Iraq would have been appropriate. I would have disagreed, but I understand that others must stand forward with their principles.

This is a simple statement of an intention to force the nation to lose a war. There is no defense on the grounds of humanity or pacifism or anything else. He seeks defeat for his own country and makes no bones about it.

Sam Farr was a pasty-faced puke thirty years ago and apparently has never changed. Back then he was just another leach-attorney practicing in Carmel. How you people elected him to Congress is beyond me. Back then, we wouldn’t have voted for him for dog-catcher.

Ask him if he’s aware that troops are already leaving.
