The media is not gonna get a big chunk of change out of this candidate and they damn well know it. So they’ve blackballed him.

That is all the more reason to apply the pressure to Fox. It's ironic you bring out this very important information as I am currently composing an email to Chris Wallace at Fox News Sunday. The email address is FNS@foxnews.com. refer to post #132 for other media sources to contact. It's time to crank up the pressure on the media with calls, emails and letters to the editors. I suspect the trend is changing for the better as illustrated by the FR poll between Hunter and Thompson is any indication. Most interestingly the non members are favoring Hunter by almost 7%. Go Hunter!!! Free Pissant!!!

Romney was 9 million down and put 17 million of his own money in his pot.
He can use his money any way he wants but to me it says he is trying to buy the nomination.

"I beg to differ. I've had little time or connectability the past few months. Every chance I had to get on FR and a Hunter thread, the Fred people were trashing the thing up. In disgust I would sign off. Because of those experiences, I will never support Fred. Reputation by association and all that."

While I haven't let Hunter supporters reflect on the man himself, I've had the same experience on Thompson threads. Even to the point of a Hunter supporter attacking my faith!

Do you realize that a good portion of Thompson supporters also support Hunter?? The attack tactic didn't turn me to Ron Paul either.

I found out that Bracewell and Giuliani, Rudy’s law firm head-quartered here in Houston, TX – is legal counsel for Fox News. Yes, you read that right, Fox News is Giuliani’s client.

Well, isn't that special?

Yeah, it is. It’s a darn shame — use to be that Fox was the one shining beacon in the MSM — now it is clear that none of them are to be trusted. The fourth estate as we once knew it is gone — either for money or for currying favor with socialist, power-grabbing dirtballs. Or (usually) both.

Thank God for the internet and talk radio. That’s all I have to say. We are now the monks in the New Dark Ages keeping truth alive.

Wrong, he is referring to Rudy and Hillary.

Nice try but Rush specifically mentions CONSERVATIVE journalists overlooking lack of genuine conservatism in candidates from the northeast.

Since candidates is plural, he is obviously talking about more than one and since no conservative is claiming that Hillary is a conservative, he can only be talking about the two northeast Republican -- that would be Rudy and Romney.

Rush was referring to the common knowledge that the lamestream media wants a RUDY vs. HILLARY campaign.

THAT's what he meant by "two liberals" in the race.

WRONG! Rush specifically mentions CONSERVATIVE journalists overlooking lack of genuine conservatism in candidates from the northeast.

Please show me were Rush says Mitt is a liberal?

or edit the title!

Rush specifically mentions CONSERVATIVE journalists overlooking lack of genuine conservatism in candidates from the northeast. Since candidates is plural, he is obviously talking about more than one and since no conservative is claiming that Hillary is a conservative, he can only be talking about the two northeast Republican -- that would be Rudy and Romney.

I realize that this does not fit your agenda, but this is the ONLY way to interpret what Rush said. Had he said ONE northeast candidate, we could argue which one, but he clearly spoke of more than one and since there are only two he must mean both.

As far as changing the title, FR allows parenthetical comments and these are accurate.

Hunter not physically attractive? Not that it should matter, but he’s second only to Mitt Romney in the looks dept. when compared with the other presidential candidates. Are you telling us that Rudy, Thompson and McCain are more attractive? Yikes!

But as far as being “bland”, I agree that he is somewhat tame in his demeanor. I guess he’s a man of few words. But his actions and accomplishments are significant, and I am praying for breakthrough in his poll standings.

I am really sorry to hear that. It is a pity things have come to that.

From what I've read the past couple days, it looks that I was lucky to not have been around the past few months.

I’ll give you a hint. Hannity ain’t that bright. If his show were on first thing in the morning, he’d have no idea what to say. He’s one of the ppl for whom Rush’s show is “show prep.”

I noticed several years ago that on days when Rush is on vacation Hannity seems lost on his show unless there was "obvious" news to talk about.

You are assuming when the fact is the leading eastern candidates are Rudy and Hillary

He is assuming nothing of the sort. Rush was clearly talking about how CONSERVATIVE journalists were willing to over look "genuine conservatism" of northeastern candidates.

The ONLY logical conclusion is that Rush was talking about Rudy AND Romney (because the word candidates is plural). Now, you could try to say that Rush mispoke and meant to say candidate in the singular form, in which case we could debate whether he meant Rudy or Romney. However, there is NO WAY to reach the conclusion that he was talking about Hillary since conservative journalists aren't giving her a pass and nobody is referring to her as a conservative.

If you have a problem with the fact that Rush said Romney isn't a genuine conservative you should take it up with Rush, but don't blame us for accurately interpreting what he was saying.

Maybe this is the source? (Fox News hosted link, LOL!)
Giuliani's Firm Lobbied Government
Tuesday, May 15, 2007
By SHARON THEIMER and DEVLIN BARRETT, Associated Press Writers

WASHINGTON — Energy companies, FBI agents, a media tycoon and even a candlemaker: Rudy Giuliani's firm has lobbied for them all and dozens more in Washington, opening the door to a wide range of potential conflicts of interest should he become president.

If Giuliani were elected, his administration would be on the receiving end of regulatory requests, contract bids and policy proposals by the same clients of his Houston firm, Bracewell & Giuliani, that have contributed toward his personal net worth of millions of dollars.

(snip)

Giuliani's law and lobbying clients have included Saudi Arabia, Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., and chewing tobacco maker UST Inc.
And now I gotta go! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Yep, there was an article in the Washington Post in May 2007 about this possible conflict of interest.

Looks like we know how and why Fox is in the tank for the liberal Rooty.
