The investigators knew from Day One that the whole story was a fraud. The key indicator in their minds was that the word "n!gger" that was scrawled on her was spelled incorrectly (I believe it only had one "g" in it).

They reasoned that even the dumbest, most illiterate white racist would know how to spell THAT word correctly.

If I recall correctly the feces smeared on her was analyzed and found to not only be dog feces, but was full of her own dog's fur.

The simple fact of the matter is that she went out and played party-girl for 4 days, and instead of owning up to her actions, she played the race/rape card to get out of it. And for the most part, she succeeded wildly...JFK
