The get-tough policy in the Washington suburbs of Prince George's County was one of the strongest efforts made by any U.S. school system to ensure its youngsters receive their required immunizations. Not your youngsters.......its youngsters.

“Two months into the school year, school officials realized that more than 2,000 students in the county still didn’t have the vaccinations they were supposed to have before attending class.”
Why were these children allowed to start school?

I would like to point out that the photo of the little girl getting a shot in the article at the link is a stock photo rented from the Corbis photo agency and stuck onto the story and a very politically correct stock photonot a real photo of any of the actual parents or children involved.

What they’re not telling you is that even though it not on the label or list of ingredients, mercury is still in them. Under a certain amount, it is not required to be listed as an ingredient, even though it’s in there. Someone may know the amount, but I don’t.

Any children who still lack immunizations could be expelled. Their parents could then be brought up on truancy charges, which can result in a 10-day jail sentence for a first offense and 30 days for a second. The state gone absolutely overboard. I realize this is about absenteeism and state money for the schools. However, this is a civil rights violation as well. This is truly another reason to get the children out of public education!
