Don’t forget, Congressman Hunter is not just a Presidential Candidate. He is saying no from the Homeland Security Committee. Unlike the other candidates who’s nos are only lip service at this point, Hunter has power and will continue to use it.

Don't worry. The Bush family is hard at work even now to deprive him of that power.

I guarantee you that at some point in the future, there will be an attempt to link Hunter to some scandal. They already tried with the Randy Cunningham / Mitchel Wade gig.

That's the way this is done. They let a guy get so far and then they spring the dirt on him. The trick is to get far enough in the game that you can't be taken down, or you have enough power to cover your tracks - and you have the willingness to do that.

The current President is just such a person - a sociopath who has no qualms about playing the game as hard as possible to his own advantage.

He and his allies will have no reservationss about taking down such impudent, honest souls as Mr. Tancredo and Mr. Hunter when the opportunity and time presents itself.
