Giuliani once again negates concerns over his social positions by supporting strict constructionists to the federal bench, unlike in NYC, where Rudy had to appoint judges from a Democrat-chosen slate.

Giuliani:
“That is not the critical factor.
And what’s important to me is to have a very intelligent, very honest, very good lawyer on the court.
And [John Roberts] fits that category, in the same way Justice Ginsburg fit that category.
I mean, she was — she maybe came at it from a very different political background, very qualified lawyer, very smart person.

Rudy Giuliani assured a conservative legal group Friday that if elected president he would appoint federal judges who adhere to their principles. Name 'em now.

Giuliani Judges Lean Left http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0207/2957.html
I don't particlarly have a beef with Giuliani personally, but it begins to trouble me what his supporters are willing to imply, that isn't true.
Giuliani has no credibility whatsoever when it comes to claiming he'll appoint conservative judges.

Name ‘em now.
If it convinces some stray Hillary enablers on this board, I think he should.

Bullsh!t. He refuses to even admit that Roe was bad law. I don’t trust him in the judges issue.

"And [John Roberts] fits that category, in the same way Justice Ginsburg fit that category." Rudy Hilliani is amazing.

Rudy made seventy-five judicial appointments. Six of those were Republican.
At least fifty were democrats. I don’t know what the other nineteen were.

How do you know if Rudy is lying?
If his lips are moving!
To: Senator Goldwater
Sir you are correct...and you have brass balls to speak favorably about Rudy on this site.
His is the best commentary I've heard on legal affairs since Romney's proposal to consult lawyers to determine whther we ought to hit a nuclear Iran:)
The only other person even coming close to talking this talk is Fred Thompson...and I believe they'll (Rudy/Fred) be the only two left standing come Feb 6th.

Oh please, don’t compare a great candidate like Fred Thompson with the lousy Mr. Unelectable.

I have no idea what you see in Giuliani that overcomes his downside.

Fortunately, Giuliani has a history we can look at to see how ludicrous these statements are, and how he apparently feels not even the slightest guilt in misrepresenting (aka completely lying about) his entire political career.
