Tom McClintock reports California has already exhausted its budget reserve. It gets even better. If the economy slows as much as it does, the true size of the budget deficit next summer will be 18 to 20 BILLION dollars. The MSM in other words, isn't telling you the whole truth about the Golden State's fiscal crisis. In effect, California's true budget deficit will be double the size of what's now being reported. Ka-ching!

OK....correct me if I’m wrong here.....If you don’t have any money in your wallet or in the bank you don’t buy anything. You stop spending.....right? Sounds easy to me. Wait.....I forgot, you can buy on credit.....that makes a lot of sense. California is spending on credit, like our federal government. I’m amazed that the people don’t do anything about it.

The govt bureaucracy can be expanded while the economy is growing, but govt workers cannot be fired when the economy contracts.
Services will be cut back usually the most critical police fire hospitals etc until the public crys uncle and forks over the taxes.
The money being repatriated by illegals to their Mexican relatives should be confiscated for govt services.
