If the economy slows as much as it does, the true size of the budget deficit next summer will be 18 to 20 BILLION dollars. The MSM in other words, isn't telling you the whole truth about the Golden State's fiscal crisis. In effect, California's true budget deficit will be double the size of what's now being reported. Ka-ching!

The govt bureaucracy can be expanded while the economy is growing, but govt workers cannot be fired when the economy contracts.

Services will be cut back usually the most critical police fire hospitals etc until the public crys uncle and forks over the taxes.

The money being repatriated by illegals to their Mexican relatives should be confiscated for govt services.
