R.P. opposes abortion.

Well, he votes against it some of the time and he votes for it some of the time. But he says he's against it.

I can't say that I am all that familiar with his voting record, but I think he views the abortion question as extra-Constitutional: The federal government has no role in this matter, and therefore it falls to states' rights. Personally, I think RP offers up some excellent ideas about returning to federalism, and slimming down the federal government. Where I personally part ways with RP is on his position in the mideast. Immediate surrender (what he calls withdrawal) would probably be catastrophic.
