The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today announced that OfficeMax, a leading office products retailer, has joined a growing list of companies that have stopped advertising on Michael Savage's nationally-syndicated radio program because of the host's anti-Muslim views. CAIR recently reported that Savage, whose "The Savage Nation" airs on more than 300 radio stations nationwide, screamed attacks on Muslims, Islam and the Quran, Islam's revealed text, during his October 29, 2007, program. To listen to Savage's bigoted statements, go to: http://www.cair.com/audio/savage_102907.asp SEE: National Radio Host Goes on Anti-Muslim Tirade http://www.cair.com/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=23608&;&name=n&&currPage=1&&A ctive=1 The Washington-based Islamic civil rights and advocacy group called on radio listeners of all faiths to contact companies that advertise on Savage's program to express their concerns about the host's anti-Muslim bigotry. Companies that have dropped ads from Savage's program include Citrix Systems Inc., a global leader in application delivery infrastructure.

I’ve never heard him say anything bigoted against the Catholic Church, except for negative comments about Cardinal Mahoney who is of questionable sanity.
Please post all companies who are putting thier tails between thier legs and folding like cheap camera’s. I will not patronize these companies and I suggest we all as American’s do the same WE THE PEOPLE! oFFICE MAX YOU ARE THE FIRST!
BOYCOTT OFFICE MAX!
I got the same limp-wristed response.
What losers!
I told them they have lose both personal and business purchases of office and computer supplies and equipment.
I’ve very rarely been in there, but now I will never go in one again. Thanks for the ping.
Well, you can try to inspire me all you want. I don't view advertising to be inspired, but for information about what I need for my business. I inspire those in my business. It's my responsibility as the owner.
You would be correct Savage is polarizing. Those who would attack the US and US citizens and kills us on the other side. And Savage on the defense side. Too bad you seem to give equal weight to both sides in order not to polarize. I guess you would take offense in the late 30s to anyone who spoke out against Nazis. That would have been polarizing.
Savage does not discriminate. He allows anyone to call in and I believe he does not discriminate in his staff. It is not discrimination to point our that fundamental moslems have a goal to attack this country and kill us. It is the historical truth and continues to be so, by their own words and deeds. The organization that complained to you has sent funds to terrorist groups and now they are attempting to present themselves as defending moslems against discrimination. Your acquiescing to them indicates that you see a moral equivalence between terrorists and those who fight against them.
Your approach is dangerous and mindless. But it's your choice; as it is mine to stop patronizing your company. And I will pass this along to my friends, family, and employees.
It is the equivalent of ignoring the Nazis in the late 30s as I referred to before and your store is complicit in that.
If you don't care about the country, at least think of your own family
PS:
One of your stores in South Florida refused to print this picture (see 57). It was to be used at a support the US rally.
This is an indication of your "non-discrimination" policy and how it endangers the US.

I agree, next time it is Staples...
Better move is to say is that he is a jerk.
I think he is funny; but if I were in the marketing department, I’d say it is because Savage is too unpredictable.
Hmmm... Office Max
I always get it confused with Office Depot...

“JIHADIS NOTICE MICHAEL SAVAGE”
***Im not gonna put my wife in a hijab. And Im not gonna put my daughter in a burqa. And Im not gettin on my all-fours and braying to Mecca. ***
Makes sense to me!!
So long, office max.
Wasn’t aware anyone was asking Dr Weiner to dress his wife
in a burqa or to “bray to Mecca”.
Sound to me like the typical pointless hateful rant he is so fond of.
Savage is too everything.
Good show.
