The minute the Shias in Iran get nukes it'd set off a race in the Shiite Arab gulf region - specifically, Saudi Arabia - to get their own nukes. A nuclear arms race in the Islamic terrorist hub of the world isn't exactly in the best interest of the U.S. and the civilized world. In fact, it's as sure a way as any to start a World War.
