They couldn't even get the Democrats to look at the evidence that was right in front of their faces on the impeachment charges! There was no way Fred could have gotten ANY traction on any case against him.
Comparing Fred with Reagan in this matter is ludicrous because Reagan, as President could call in the AG; Fred didn't have that option in the Senate.
