I am confused about that too. Why would “Latino activists” want anyone to think that La Eme commits ethnic cleansing???

Because the hispanic activists who are not racists were trying to get officials to come to grips with what was taking place. I think you're confusing these honest upstanding hispanics with those in La Raza et al.
