My main problem with these shows is that they're losing the fight because they're not fighting the right battle. They pass on the latest information and anaylsis. Seems to be a strong "Not Invented Here" syndrome, that if they haven't heard of it, it doesn't exist.
If they were, the Iraq war would have been over long ago.
I do understand that I don't have the burden of making a whole show happen day in and day out, but not availing themselves of actionable information that would have an impact is unforgivable.

There seems to be trend toward dropping in a generic talk show host to fill in for the regular host. Most of them are uninformed gum flappers. It's frustrating when a lefty gets on the air spewing total BS and the guest host is too dumb or too uniformed to handle it. Limbaugh and Hedgecock continue to succeed because they do their homework before sitting in front of the mike. I sometimes have an opportunity to listen to Mark Levin on Sirius or online. My wife laughs when Levin gets wound up on his rants.
Laura needs to improve the signal to noise ratio and preparation. I frequently have to turn her show off when I'm working in the afternoon. It's more distracting than informative.

Re#10 ‘Morning. True. It’s that ego thingy. It is one of the reasons I like Dennis Miller as opposed to LI and Hannity. When a caller tells Dennis something he doesn’t know about, he admits it and will and does look into it. That said, the others do some good, but let their ego/arrogance get in the way too often...
