I was already of the opinion when Hillary won her Senate seat that she would wait until the 2008 election—it’s easier not to run against an incumbent, and in 2003 she would have been asking for support on the basis of 2 years and a few months in the Senate. I wasn’t at all surprised that she showed no interest in making a run in 2004.

I wonder if Bill can save her buns on the campaign trail?

Yes, he can - and will

Bill is the entire reason that the bitch has 2 cents of political capital.- Without him she would be nobody.
Every dem voter that I've ever met wants Bill back, and they want it very badly.
(hillary!) is a sideshow.

They miss Bill and all of this media blather just swells the coffers - all is proceeding in an orderly fashion

The sample here includes a lot of independents—about a third of those polled. But some states only allow registered RATS to vote in the primary. So I have to question the validity of the sampling technique.

if obama were to beat Clinton, do you think that she’d make sure the GOP won so she could try again in 4 years?

They've done it twice before... I think so anyways.

You know if it really starts to become a horse race on the rat side. Ossama Obbama better watch out, that hiltery is a real MEAN beech!

Personally I can’t wait for the “never take breathe” shrill to begin.

I am beginning to think the klintoons saw slicks campaigns as so easy that anyone could do it, but hitlery ain’t got the stuff! Its startin to show.

This looks like the June poll. The article states near the end that Thompson wasn't officially in the race yet.

Also, if you go to RealClearPolitics.com and look at the national Dem. polls, you’ll see that the data in this poll matches the June poll from USA Today/Gallup Poll.

Great. Obama has all the leadership ability of John Kerry, the foreign policy expertise of Jimmy Carter and the Domestic political instincts of Walter Mondale.
