Very moving.

It sure is.....Sinco pimps him yet again, this time because the kid has problems as a civilian.

"Sinco pimps him yet again"

To push his anti-war agenda. I hope this Marine finds peace and can move on with his life

If you want an inspirational story, The Cigar Marine , Gunny Popaditch is pretty amazing.

“Gunny Popaditch is pretty amazing.”

True enough. But also, he represents the vast majority of returning casualties......we just don’t see it much because the media (including Sinco) prefers “victims” and others with problems to use as poster children for their preferred agenda, of course.

Kudos to signonsandiego for these positive clips!

I emailed Luis Sinco yesterday and informed him that contrary to what his wife inaccurately said, Marine James Blake Miller was NOT “kicked out” of the Marine Corps. Miller was given an Honorable Discharge.

If this Luis Sinco is going to write a story, he should at least make a stab at reporting it factually!

And if Miller wants help all he has to do is ask. There are plenty of organizations available to Veterans and their families. I also informed Sinco that if Miller needed help that he could give Miller my contact information and I would be glad & honored to help a fellow Marine.

We Marines take care of our own because we “Never Forget!”

Semper Fi,
Kelly

Luis Sinco had an agenda. That agenda is, Iraq, like Vietnam, has gained us nothing. The only thing it has done is create death, destruction, and personal pain. The war has accomplished nothing. That is Sinco’s message and he exploited this brave, yet obviously troubled, troop to make this statement.

Yes, it was a moving portrayal of a person in pain, but the message is clear.

Katie COuric and SeeBS news are doing a thing this week about how many soldiers are killing themselves upon being sent home. I thought to myself, “ yep I’m sure they are killing themselves in record numbers due to your malevolent actions Ms. Couric. You have made them feel badly about themselves and their service to a nation who is by your portrayal ungrateful to them. ALL OF YOU IN THE DRIVE-BY MEDIA ARE COMPLICIT IN THEIR DEATHS !!!!

because of your post, I went looking and found this......it is baloney, and here is why:

“...the civilian rate for the same age and gender mix as in the Army is 19 to 20 per 100,000 people.”

There is not a single figure in the article that equals or exceeds this rate if you extrapolate honestly, which the authors and their suicide-industry cohorts did not do. Their purpose is to mislead, and it is easy to do with a bunch of apple-to-orange statements, esp couched in a tug-at-your-apron-strings setting as this article!

Combine the Iraq and Afghanistan troop strengths and extrapolate for one year and you will not find a rate equal to or exceeding the civilian rate adjusted for age and sex, period.
