NFL Football as Campaign 2008

1. The New England Patriots as Hillary Clinton... "The greatest of all time" or so the "experts" wonder aloud? (And many would disagree...) The most organizational strength of any of the field. Complete with "philandering quarterback who'd rather knock up a girl, and leave her for a new Supermodel" - ready to take up residence as "first lady" and whose calendar would be well... blank, thus allowing him to remain "in play" pretty much 24/7. Team Hillary is also willing to stoop to classic Belicheck cheating levels like videotaping the visiting team's signals, or even planting ONLY the questions that Hillary wishes to answer amongst those who come to the rallies.

LOL: He links Mitt Romney with the Cowboys. Romney spends big on his campaign in the same way that Jerry Jones does for the ‘boys.

If senator kennedy were running, he'd be the one. They call him the swimmer for a reason.

Not a Pats fan, but don’t insult them by comparing them to Hillary.

Poor analogies each, in the article.

The N.E, Patriots are the exact opposite of the Clinton mentality. After years of being NFL doormats they finally got themselves out of the Plantation Mentality and went out and accomplished a few things via radical thinking and positive actions.

The Dallas Cowboys and Mitt Romney comparison is ridiculous. Take a look on any given day what the Boston Herald (our conservative rag) regularly publishes about Romney. He is no hometown favorite and the polls will “prove” it. Exactly why Romney did not run for a second term by the way.

The Indianapolis Colts are one of the original NFL teams, and the notion that Obama’s (Colts) organization is not as sophisticated as the Patriots is simply grasping. The Colts are one of the most storied NFL teams of all time, and Obama (because of his eloquence) is the latest produce of a left wing communal mentality (more plantationism) that has been tweaked for decades now.

Giuliani running a “penalty free’ game? Ha, that certainly is a spurious association. Maybe his next wife will help him accrue the sort of lasting permanence that the Packers have long realized at least among their fan base, unlike anything that Rudy will likely know when even his own City will vote against him if he were to win the Republican nomination next year.

We’ll take it. Good karma — “America’s Team” and all.

Good God. I went and actually read that column...that was pretty lame, in my opinion.

A lot of people depend on sports analogies to the detriment of the point they are trying to make, but that was just downright silly.

Yup. That’s not a bad link for Romney to have. Cowboy fans span out across the country, whereas Romney’s home team—The Patriots—have become largely despised outside of Interstate 495. Better for Romney that Hillary is linked with the Pats, and he gets linked with the Cowboys.

The Pats should be the feel good story, the once and future champs, not Herevilself.

The downtown (anytown) Dildos. They typically fornicate with other receptive 'teams' generally consisting of confused prostitutes, various debris, and other nefarious intoxicated entities. Oh yeah, they want a flat tax.
