This High Times Magazine article is equivalent to reading the Hillary Clinton Wellesley College thesis. Ron Paul not only wanted to legalize marijuana, he wanted to legalize all drugs.
The Youtube video has the audacity of comparing a flawed War on terrorism with a flawed War on drugs.
This view is not representative of what most FReepers think and it makes me sick to think the Ron Paul cult can espouse them here at FR.
Pathetic.

If one, as a strict constructionist conservative, thinks the Constitution does not grant Congress the power to ban such things, then legalization thereof is a rational outcome - not because we “want them legal”, but because we want a government that only does what it is strictly allowed to, and no more.

What High Times article are you referring to? What you posted was a link to an audio of an interview with NORML in which Ron Paul discusses legalization of marijuana, stating opinions with which I totally agree. I didn't hear him endorse legalization of all drugs, although he may have done so elsewhere.
Yes, NORML in its visual compares the war on drugs to the war on terror, but that was NORML not Ron Paul. If Paul has made the same comparison, I have not heard it.
In posting that link, did you really think that you were making a significant statement? Did you not know that Ron Paul is a libertarian and endorses the legalization of marijuana, as any half-way thinking person would?
