Why the Ron Paul Campaign is Dangerous
NewsBull ^ | November 11, 2007 | JB Williams

I hate wasting this much press time on Ron Paul. But the Paul campaign is becoming a real threat to the Republican primary process and if allowed to continue, he will take votes away from the most conservative Republican candidates in the party, not the most liberal. This is bad for the party and the country.

(snip)

So, how Republican is Republican candidate Ron Paul?

If he’s funded largely by anti-war leftists, from Democrat stronghold districts and counting on Democrats, Libertarians and members of the Green Party to win the Republican nomination, not very…

Those were Bush’s Pioneers, each of which made bundled donations of over $200,000 to Bush in the prior election. It is a serious problem for the national GOP.

B4, your criticism of Kent is noted.

When you've got a candidate like Paul who can bring racists, Jewhaters, and conspiracy theorists into the Republican fold, he should not be criticized. It's a winning Republican strategy.

Not to mention the military, Ron is the one to end the atrocities our forces have perpetrated over the years.

Ron Paul: US "military is mowing civilians down in the streets"

RON PAUL ACCUSED U.S. TROOPS OF WAR CRIMES IN DESERT STORM

The nation should be ashamed of our military, only Ron Paul can restore their honor.

Not to mention those nasty Evangelicals

Ron Paul: Israel bought Jesse Helms

bot and paid for by the Jews.

This needs to be exposed.

Clearly Paul should be exempt from any and all criticism, particularly on a neocon warmonger site composed of largely ignorant posters, per Paul supporters.

It's anyone's guess how I'll ever manage to live down the shame, at this juncture. ;)

This is not a Republican website forum. This is a conservative website forum. Go click on the RLC forum on this website:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-rlc/browse

Under your crude definition, almost every single founding member of the RLC (Republican Liberty Caucus: http://www.rlc.org/ and http://www.republicanliberty.org/) is a RINO. FreeRepublic is their official Internet forum website. FreeRepublic ownership so strongly agrees with their goals that there was an official association made, and hence their membership resides here today. It’s quite possible you will find that FR is not a good match for you and your political message board activities on the Internet. Or you can separate the concept “Republican” from the concept of “conservative”, and you can understand why calling Ron Paul a RINO on FR is patently ridiculous.

Jim Robinson had harsher words than RINO for Ron Paul.

What makes me laugh about you people is that all of you act as if Ron Paul sitting in the White House will have the powers of a king.

Hmmmm....I don't remember ever expressing any such sentiment.

The one I express is very clear: No cut-and-run advocate will get my support.

What I've noticed about Ron Paul Acolytes is that they seem to have this tendency to project onto others. ;-)

I don't live in Pueblo anymore, but I was born and raised there and with very few exceptions, it's the Dems who are the activists when it comes to elections.

Nobody is going to tell me that the people I saw holding those "Ron Paul" signs on the street corners were Republicans!

Ain't gonna happen, my man. Ain't gonna happen. The Left is not supporting Paul, they are still behind Obama & Hillary.

I NEVER said that the left would vote for Paul in the general election, I do believe that a lot of them will vote for him in the GOP primaries (they view Hillary as inevitable, so they won't vote in the 'Rat primaries).

Wagglebee, he's not running as a third-party candidate. Please don't lower yourself and believe in this propaganda. You're better than that.

Go back and read what I wrote, I am ONLY speaking about the GOP nomination:

Paul can do to the GOP nomination what Perot did to the national election in 1992 and throw the nomination to Rooty.

I view Paul as a complete non-issue in the general election, what scares me is what he can do to the Republican nomination.

Lets see 1907, do I really want to go back to the country as it was then?

In terms of the Constitution-yes!

By its nature the nature of man as defined in the Declaration of Independence transcends government and is the antidote to the Middle East pot-stirrers, among others.

Amen.

American ideals will defeat radical Islam, just as they did Communism.

Yes, and Peikoff advocated voting for Kerry over Bush, due to Bush's ties to the anti-abortion Christian right.

Also, the ARI was very critical of Bush attacking Iraq instead of Iran.

His publiched political thoughts for 8 or ten years, you’d think he and his supporters would be glad to have the publication out there.
