"Now, all of the records, as far as I know, about what we did with healthcare, those are already available," Clinton said at a Democratic debate last month.
But a big part of that history is being concealed. Hundreds of pages of memos and correspondence involving the healthcare plan of the early 1990s have been withheld, leaving a gap in a historic period when Clinton undertook one of the most ambitious domestic policy forays ever attempted.
Some of the records kept from public view are memos from the early 1990s that White House aides wrote to Clinton about members of Congress, some of whom are still serving.
Federal government archivists working at the Bill Clinton presidential library in Little Rock, Ark., deemed the material confidential. The archivists withheld it under a federal law that allows them to restrict several types of material, including private communications between presidential advisors.
A three-page memo written to Hillary Clinton in 1993, for example, is titled "Positioning ourselves on healthcare." It is not available to the public. A notice in the files says that archivists are withholding it on the grounds that its release would reveal confidential advice.
....
When archivists are ready to release a batch of material, they notify a Bill Clinton representative -- longtime confidant Bruce Lindsey -- who reviews it and decides whether to hold anything back.

It is obvious that Shrillery is lying when she says all the records have been released on Hillarycare ‘93.
Why is a known lying hack like Bruce Lindsey allowed to have anything to do with the process, anyway? Lindsey’s role with Sandy Burglar in destroying and thus suppressing sensitive files from the National Archives should have been a permanent bar to any role in such matters..... oh, but the CLintonistas circled the wagons and never did have to account for Burglargate before Congress and before the public.
Hillary will wave her hand and tell us the document are right in front of us. We will see nothing.
Good news is that this is being exposed in the LA Times. Hillary may be in trouble.
The only “book” Clinton will open on health care is OUR pocket book.
Someone who can document the paper trail, showing the gaps, should put this together and send it to ALL her opponents, all media. And let fall where it may.
Yes, if some MSM types decide the story’s too good to ignore, and/or if they prefer Obama or Edwards, etc. then they may finally decide to go after the Clintonistas. I’m not holding my breath, but maybe Shrillery will finally have to answer some serious questions and pressure will build to truly “release all the documents”..... naaaww, on 2nd thought, the Clintonistas didn’t get this far without plenty of complicity from the dishonest propagandistic MSM.
This will get no traction, and once Hillary is nominated, this will be dismissed by the Drive-Bys as "old news".
I can’t document the paper trail but I still have a paper copy of H.R. 3600 (Hillary Care)...all one thousand three hundred sixty four (1364) pages of it.
It’s here on the web...

Saturday's Chicago Tribune has an article that roped-a-dope one reporter looking for Barry Obama's records while in Illinois government.
The offical reply from the Obama campaign centered around:
* file drawers may have been purged after he left Illinois government, or
* maybe he has some stuff but he doesn't have an archivist on staff, or
* maybe if you ask for something specific they may be able to give out a sanitized version of the public record.
In both camps, the attitude toward those interested in actual history on the candidate is "Don't Ask, Don't Tell".
Does she really expect us to believe that?
It has definitely not been a good week for Her Heinous. I’d love to see her go down in flames, the sooner the better.
I recall they kept all records sealed. The SCOTUS ordered them released, and yet they never were. The records contained lists of those who were involved with HillaryCare, their positions, outlines of how it would work etc. AT the time, the Clintons said that to tell the people what they were considering before the plan was ready was unnecessary.
Too old? Wrong lifestyle (except gays, of course)? Smoke (tobacco only, of course)? Then no wasting health care on you!
As prominent Democrat Richard Lamm said, you have a duty to die and get out of the way -- and not just you old people.
Hillary Care, the solution to the looming Social Security crisis.
I think it was Dec. ‘97 that Judge Royce Lambreth(sp)ruled that members of the Clinton entourage had committed perjury in a lawsuit by a group of doctors who were trying to get the behind the closed door info on Hillarycare.
The Clinton Justice dept refused to move on the Judge’s referral so he levied a fine of over $200,000 on the government. It was the most he could do.
The MSM never really pursued the matter.

Bill Takes Blame for Hillarys Health Care Failure [semi-satire]
Former President Bill Clinton insisted that even though the effort was headed up by Hillary, he is to blame for his administrations failed health care plan, not his wife. The issue is a bit sticky since a national health care plan is a key plank in Senator Hillary Clintons bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.
She has taken the rap for some of the problems we had with health care the last time that were far more my fault than hers, Bill Clinton said. I got Hillary to head the health care task force to keep her occupied and give
myself more time for other activities. I should have known she was in over
her head.
The former president cited Hillarys bungling of an initiative aimed at improving public education in Arkansas when he was governor as a red flag I shouldve paid more attention to.
Under Hillarys guidance, Arkansas saw its school system ranking among the 50 states drop from 49th in the nation to last place.
