Fox News Watch: MSM Backing Bhutto

Should I be worried? I just agreed with something Neal Gabler said. On yesterday's Fox News Watch, the liberal media critic opined that the MSM is backing Benazir Bhutto over Pervez Musharraf in the current Pakistan crisis -- and not for the loftiest of motives . . .
[Also includes interesting historical footnote on Willie Horton episode.]

The State Department and the MSM can say what they want - She does not have a snowball's chance in hell.
It is high time that Plan B be shelved and Plan C be considered.

Interesting sidenote on the Willie Horton story.
My first thought was that Benazir Bhutto is as corrupt as Willie Horton, so maybe it’s not entirely a sidenote.

There must be a missing piece here. . .or something ‘lost in the translation’. . .MSM and ‘our’ side. . .does not compute.

My husband also mentioned that she was corrupt. I must have missed that.

I wonder if news organizations should be for or against anyone. Wouldn’t that keep that from being objective?
It is too bad they don’t know this. They always are for or against something rather than just give us the friggin news.

Bhutto is corrupt, she and her family pretty much got run out of the country for corruption...she is the Ron Paul candidate, the Rino’s and dimmis want her in power.
They are rooting for further failure in Pak, imo....

We already knew she was a corrupt leftist, so it’s no surprise the MSM loves her. She’s the Paki hillary.
To: ozzymandus
Heaven knows, Mushie is no prize. But we need to be very careful what we wish for and whom we support. The situation can, and very well may, get much worse.

Frankly, I think secular military strongmen have their good points, especially in the Muslim nations.

“Shes the Paki hillary.”
I dunno, she’s *got* to have better legs.

The bottom line is that something or someone must prevent the radical Islamists from taking over Pakistan and, consequently, their nuclear weapons. Whatever that something or someone is, we must support, at least for now.
