Ron Paul actually never set the one-day record for donations in this campaign cycle. I don’t know where his supporters are coming up with that. There has to be some serious caveats to the terms.

Mitt Romney, for instance, raised 6.5-million in a day earlier in this campaign. And I don’t even know if that’s the record. You didn’t hear Romney’s camp calling it such.

They tend to make things up in hopes of duping a couple of the gullibel types into believing what they say.

Well Mitt did no such thing. If you read your article it was pledges to contribute toward his campaign if he ran...

From your article...”At the same time, raising such a large sum of money in one day — with the caveat that part of the money has been pledged and not actually delivered”

You are engaging in duplicitous Ron Paul bashing and are obviously a RINO McRudyomney supporter who hates the Consitution. 100% of Ron's support comes from solders, and the rest from true conservatives who aren't just pretending to be in favor of small government so they can support a surrender monkey.

Besides, Ron Paul raised more money in one day than any other Ron Paul in history.

Most of those were pledges. All of Paul's $4.3 million haul was cash.

Mitt Romney’s Claim

There have been reportsi that Ron Paul’s fundraising total from November 5th was beaten by Mitt Romney earlier this year. However, FEC reports do not agree with the $6.5 million figure given by the Romney campaign. Mr. Romney’s April 2007 filing shows an actual number of $3,143,404.
