Ron Paul breaks into the light as freedom warrior By David M. Brown TRIBUNE-REVIEW Sunday, November 11, 2007
DES MOINES -- It used to be easy to portray Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul as a quixotic champion of a hopeless cause. But Don Quixote never raised $4.2 million in a single day.
The parody of someone tilting at windmills hardly fits now that Paul is raising serious amounts of campaign cash. He's using it to fortify grassroots efforts in the important early caucus state of Iowa and to buy TV ads in New Hampshire and other key battleground states.
The Green Tree native who garnered just 432,000 votes in 1988, when he ran for president as a Libertarian, has 100,000 volunteers today.

I’ll give Ron Paul credit for a good publicity stunt (having his supporters delay donations for weeks so he could set a “one day contribution record”).
For the most part though, Ron Paul is a non-starter. The polls show it, and he certainly won’t be the Republican nominee.

I would vote for HC before I would vote for a al-Qaeda supporter.

I look at this the same way I look at fireworks. If someone is willing to spend millions of dollars just to entertain me, who am I to say no? Spend on, Ron, spend on...

The money rasised was not "grass roots" money, the event was organized by a leftist, whose name I can't recall at the moment, from Florida who just announced he's moving to New Hampshire temporarily, an effort to derail Mitt Romney and ensure Roody will be the (R) nominee.
Then the Clintons can let loose the sh*tstorm of negativity on him. This will cause a split in the right and a base for Paul to run as a third party candidate. Thus giving America another Clinton in the Wite House.
DON'T FALL FOR PAUL!!!

Ron Paul actually never set the one-day record for donations in this campaign cycle. I dont know where his supporters are coming up with that. They tend to make things up in hopes of duping a couple of the gullibel types into believing what they say.

Ron Paul is the leader of the moonbats who always cite such ridiculous conspiracy theories and generally believe Alex Jones is telling the truth.

And I too believe that Ron Paul is a leftist who like so many liberals pretend to be conservatives. They beleive and talk and act like liberals. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, there is a very good chance it is a duck.

This new George Carlin video may have something to do with Ron Paul's growing success raising campaign donations:
