H.Clinton Lied About Tip
Town Hall ^ | November 09, 2007 | Patrick Ruffini

So it turns out the Clinton camp didn't tip after all.

Kos is running with this:

Esterday said "nobody got tipped that day," and NPR should have checked with the Clinton campaign before the story aired to see if any tip was left and how it was done. We regret that this was not done. On Thursday, Esterday was sticking by her story.

"Why would I lie about not getting a tip?" she told NPR. She also maintained that her co-workers at the restaurant had not received tips.

A Clinton campaign staffer called on Esterday at the restaurant Thursday after the story aired. The staff member apologized to her and gave her a $20 bill, according to Esterday. The Clinton campaign confirmed that visit. The campaign also produced photocopies of receipts showing $157.46 was paid to Maid-Rite on a VISA card on Oct. 8 for meals consumed by the candidate's entourage. The tip was supposed to have been paid in cash, and the campaign insisted such a payment was made but has declined to make available a staff member who was present at Maid-Rite and left tip money [...] "Where Hillary was sitting, there was no tip left," Crawford said.

It’s all irrelevant, the message here is that her highness does not carry cash, she’s not like the rest of us.

Actually I think she is the most beatable Democrat that could get the nomination. On the other hand If Giuliani is the Republican nominee then the Press is going to go wall-to-wall with Giuliani character and scandals until November and her election becomes much more likely.

Multiple books from credible sources have been written regarding Hillary’s paranoid, vindictive, cruel and control freak nature. This is the last type of person who should be in power. She makes Nixon look like Mr Rodgers. The media HAVE to know this, yet they ignore it. It is a HUGE diservice to the nation and their “profession”.

Brick, hell....much more like a small, insignificant pebble buried in the mortar.

Unfortunately, it is also a distraction to what is very important about this killer.

Her supporters are loving this....us paying attention to insignificant events such as this will buy them the time they need to elect the killer.

It will give me great joy to see her not receive the Dem nomination. [I have faith.]

I'm kind of torn on this one. On the one hand, I would like to see her not be nominated, I would rub my hands with glee. OTOH, I think she would be the easiest candidate to beat in the general election. I just can't imagine any man (outside of the nancy-boy types living SF, NY etc.)voting for her.

This "event" has cut nothing. While we concentrate on "air events", her camp is busy keeping our attentions deflected by insignificance.

Her "husband" was famous for this; she learned well.

Too bad for us as long as this is all we can find important to discuss about this killer.

Twas brillig, and the slithy Bill
Did gyre and gimble in the babes:
All mimsy his excuses shrill,
For fear Her wrath outgrabes.

“Beware the Hildebeest, my son!
The thighs that crush, the voice with scratch!
Beware the PantSoot bird, and shun
The frumious BlanderSnatch!”

His vorpal sprong in intern’s hand:
Long time the manxome glee he sought —
Then rested by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in raffish thought he stood,
The Hildebeest, with eyes of flame,
Came Methodizing through the wood,
Thighs rubbing as she came!

Slash one! Slash two! And she was through
His vorpal sprong went snicker-snack!
She left it dead, and with its head
She went galumphing back.

“Now, I have slain thy vorpal sprong
Come to my arms, my sprongless boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!”
She chortled in her joy.

Twas brillig, but no slithy Bills
Did gyre and gimble in the babes;
All flimsy were his testikills,
That BlanderSnatch wrath grabe.

“The tip was supposed to have been paid in cash,” Now why would you pay the tab with a credit card and pay the tip in cash?

There would be a record of a tip if it had been placed on a credit card. The patron writes in the tip and sums up the check. Makes the credit card tip story smell of lie... it's too easy to produce a copy of a signed credit card receipt. If there was one, we would have seen it.

Yeh, give back my tip. ha ha. Here I left you a tip. Now I’ll put it back in my wallet. You are so powerful for wanting to give back like that.

The issue of the tip is not of itself really that important because we already know from the way she treated the secret service and military during the Clintoon presidency that she has contempt for others. The underlying thing here is that there are people who want to rule this country that see it as existing to serve them. They have a separate set of rules for themselves which conveniently exist “for the greater good.” Sort of like a huge liberal high school history teacher I had who would tell you in a heartbeat that if someone broke in her house she had a shotgun, but later would try and explain why the second amendment doesnt apply to us and why firearm ownership wasnt really a good idea “for everyone.”

We as a people have been bought by these would be rulers. They see themselves as an anointed ruling class, better then the common man. As a conservative however, I see myself as no better then the guy picking up the garbage, I just got myself a better paying job. I see a world where we can all do better together. They see a world where there is only so much wealth to go around and they want to make sure it ends up at their house, not yours. The way I look at it is if I help a neighbor build a barn, his wealth increased. Did the boards magically disappear from my barn? No, we can both have a barn, his doesnt effect mine whatsoever. The issue of class should be dead in this country. Too many great men have fought and died for this country of all different walks of life for us to say one group should rule it over the others.

I disagree with those who would rule by keeping others tied to the government by dependence. It is calculated to dumb down the masses. Just like the rampant state-sponsored drug use in Iran, or the way Saddam was the source of food in Iraq for years. You cant very well revolt against a dictator when you are too busy fighting a war with your neighboring tribe and dependent on the dictator for your food. For this reason, I hope to see a day when government dependency is growing less and the government is dependent on us, not the other way around.

Contrast Hillary with a real, honorable, conservative candidate:

Jan. 2007 "Hunter's waitress at Pappy's Pizza complained privately that candidates come in day after day, hog her tables for hours, then leave piddling tips. But after Hunter and his son got up to leave, and the waitress discovered a $20 tip on her table, she gleefully called after the congressman: “Goodbye, Mr. President.”

The story isn’t Hillary’s campaign failing to leave a tip. The story is the typical obfuscation and demonization that the Clintons trot out every single time there’s the slightest controversy about them. All Hillary needed to do was admit a screwup and apologize and it would have been over. Instead, she and her campaign have put out at least three different stories (obfuscation) and first tried to cover the oversight by saying someone in the restaurant must have stolen it (demonization).

The reaction of the Clintons to the least little controversy is not to act like mature adults, but instead to point fingers at the other guy. It’s the reaction of a four-year-old with her hand in the cookie jar, and should be beneath the dignity of a sixty-year-old woman who wants to be the President of the United States.

You are right.

I remember an anecdote about Hillary that I'll never forget.

During her first term in the White House it was reported that Hillary instructed the staff that when she walks thru the hallways in the East Wing that they shouldn't look her in the eyes when they pass her.
