You’d never know if you only watch, listen to, or read the MSM.

Thanks to all those that have served and are now serving.

I served as, and when expected to, fought as a Marine. My life has been fairly long and awfully good from one end to the other, but being a Marine for a quarter of a century is what bumped it up to wonderful. Just when you think you’ve had it all, you wake up one morning and discover that you are now “old corps” to the ones now serving and it makes you proud that you and your fellow Marines did what you did in your time, and proud as a grampa could be of the current crop. One of the ways that God has blessed America was giving us the Marine Corps.

The Corps is looking pretty spry for pushing close to 6-score years old!
Happy Birthday Marines, espcially my nephew at Lejeune. And thanks to all of you.
