Lovely, Snugs!! We pay hearty tribute to our British ally veterans also. It is a big day in Canada, and when googling for images, learned about the Canadian tributes. I wear my poppy from the American Legion, in memory of all and in particular of SGT Robert T. Ayres, III, buried here at Los Angeles National Cemetery on October 10, 2007.

We remember and honor the loss of our British and American troops, Allies and Coalition.
Poppies are so symbolic of that first Armistise Day I am so glad that we still keep the tradition up and that so many children wear them proudly.
By the way I cannot spell did you see I type reef instead of wreath.
