I think Congress needs to pass a law outlawing the sales of toys from China in the USA!!!! >:-(
These constant recalls are totally getting on my very last nerve already. KNOCK IT OFF, CHINA!!!! >:-(
(Tin foil hat coming out: wondering if all this stuff is accidentally being done ON PURPOSE to undermine our country through our children?!?)
Lead, coke I’d believe but lead...
is there no end to this?
My question is: how many defective, poisonous, made in china products have slipped through the cracks?
how many kill the kids toys are laying in the toy box right now?
is there a connection between the baby shots and china?
do we buy the bottles from them? the meds from them? could they be part of the drug clones they ship into the US full of toxic junk? Fakes passing as real
Future headline? "PRC court order expropriates Mattel property, 'Stained the reputation of Chinese people.'
'A simple apology cannot compensate for the losses,' says PRC official. 'Other corporations will pay for their insults.'"
Following day headline? "Corporations demand Congress pay reimbursement for losses in China.
'Not all government interference is bad,' said a free trader."
ok, first time shame on you, second time shame on me.
how many times has this happened now?
I guess a lump of coal would be safer this Christmas.
I buy most of my stuff including food from Wal-Mart. Most of Walmart’s stuff is from China. So you want to ban all my stuff and food that I buy too? I never had a problem.
I thought companies were free to sell to us what we want without the government telling us who we can buy from. There is such a thing as personal responsibility. We don’t have to look to the government to hold our hand and “protect” us from all these “evil” companies.
I save thousands per year buying at Walmart. Thank God for Walmart.
You work for Wal-Mart?
Enjoy your trash. Too bad you won’t buy U.S.A. goods with U.S.A. content which are available for the same price.
OK
...Now that we know for sure that sending American jobs off shore definately doesnt work, isnt beneficial toour economy, and in fact is down right deadly to our children...
Let’s make our own toys etc again
I’ve been saying your “tin foil hat” theory for a few years now, only half in jest...
No I don’t work for Wal-Mart.
I just don’t believe that government should tell me from what private company I can buy from. What country a private company is located doesn’t matter. Most U.S. companies are crippled because of government regulations so they have to move overseas.
Obviously many “conservatives” on here believe like liberals do in using the government to impose their liberal media implanted beliefs on the rest of us who believe differently.
Or.....it was ignored before because they are the Most Favored nation. I keep harping on that....but why are they? If they are removed that title, who would take its place in the MFN status?
I'd agree if the b@$+@})$ would label with country of origin. I'm tired of hunting for that information and being unable to find it. I don't want to eat anything grown or processed in China or any other country with low health regulations. I would not even feed my dogs anything from China.
For your information Wal-Mart is a U.S. company and the largest corporation in the world.
I buy what I think is the best value .And you or the government can’t tell me who I can buy from using the money that I earned. That’s somethings called freedom, individual liberty, private property rights and freedom of choice.
I'd like to know also. We don't trade with Cuba.
