We've seen the Bush White House's penchant for cronyism and its Open Borders arrogance. Both of which the conservative base of the GOP says a loud NO to. Therein are lessons for Rudy Guiliani and his now indicted cop pal Bernard Kerik.

Rooty and his entourage are a cesspool of corruption — if we don’t raise it in primary season, Hitlery’s thugs and the MSM will be happy to bring it up over and over if he is the nominee.

Rudy came so close to getting Kerik inside of an in charge of the Department of Homeland Security. They just about got away with it.

The potential damage is incalculable.

The RNC couldn’t care less about conservatives of any stripe. We are the blacks of the Republican party. Actually worse, blacks compromise and cut deals. We just wander around in the political deserts with our honor intact.

we are still left with a leading GOP presidential candidate

I believe Guiliani is a media creation. I can't believe he will win the nomination. If he does, I surrender. The GOP will simply be Democrat Lite, and what's the point? If one of these "Countries Without Borders" clowns wins the Presidency, you really don't have a country any more, anyway.

“Responsibility for stopping illegal immigration belongs to the federal government and not to cities, states or businesses, Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani said Tuesday.”

Rudy has no intention of enforcing immigration law. A Rudy administration would be Jorge II on this issue. If he wins the nomination, a Rudy/Hillary debate would be about little more than Iraq (which might or might not be a top issue a year from now), taxes and health care, and little else. They could stand there and agree on abortion, gay marriage, lax border enforcement and amnesty for illegals, and other ‘social’ issues.

An object lesson, because it highlights the flaws and vulnerabilities of GOP front-runner Rudy Giuliani’s on the issues of corruption and immigration enforcement.

Anyone who genuinely believes a pro-illegal immigration, pro-”sanctuary city” stance (such as Giuliani’s) does ANYthing whatsoever to enhance their safety from terrorist attacks is — plainly and simply — too bone @#$%ing stupid to be allowed to vote, come Election Day.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

“The grass-roots conservative base is sick and tired of cronyism and open-borders arrogance–two traits that dominate the Bush White House”

Nothing less than bluntly honest.

Thank you MM.

If it’s proper to blame Rudy Giuliani (by association) for Bernard Kerik’s misdeeds, then it’s damned well proper to blame Hillary Clinton for her husband’s deeds.
