You might find
this page interesting...it's the volcanic/seismic monitoring program at Yellowstone. Yellowstone has up to 20 earthquakes on a usual day, but there have been "swarms," where several hundred were recorded in a single day. Also, there have been periods where the caldera subsided over a decade or so before resuming uplift.
