Do Nothing Nancy is attempting to reach that never before reached single digit approval. She may give us a landslide next year.

Pray for W and Our Victorious Troops

Congress Approves More Submarine Money
(One of murtha’s piglets)
1:45 PM EST, November 9, 2007
The Senate approved the bill late Thursday night following House passage earlier in the day.

Democrats are Troubled by Party’s Iraq Strategy
Rep. John Murtha, the chairman of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, said that the vote was delayed because leadership was not satisfied it would pass. The bill - which includes a provision that would effectively ban waterboarding and other aggressive interrogation techniques and restrict deployments - might be tweaked to deal with member concerns, he said.

Pelosi told reporters yesterday that she was confident the bill would pass.

But one guarantee, Murtha said, is that Bush will have to accept some timetable on withdrawals if he wants the money.

“I don’t think you’ll see the House pass anything without restrictions,” said Murtha, D-Pa.

White House spokesman Tony Fratto said Thursday that Bush would again veto any legislation that sets an “artificial timeline” for withdrawals.

“We should be supporting our troops as they are succeeding, not finding ways to undercut their mission,” he said.

Pelosi, D-Calif., told members in a private caucus meeting Thursday that if Bush rejected the bill, she did not intend to send him another war-spending bill for the rest of the year.

As I read the “Chain of Command” from POTUS to private soldier nowhere in it do I see the “Congress of the United States” mentioned!

The Dems are now 0-40 on such votes. The Pubs should be advertizing this over and over that the Dems do not support victory over Islamofascism. And use that term, whether it is Rudy, Mitt, or Fred. All the House and Senate candidates should do it too.
