I don’t think Hunter is out of line to take Thompson, Romeny or any of the other players to task on this point, to a point. The problem as I see it is that Hunter hasn’t gained traction.

That truly saddens me, because I do think he’s been in the hunt for a long time on this subject and I think he’s the best man.

The choices are more than likely going to be Giuliani, Romney, Huckabee and Thompson by primary or caucus day.
I’ll be voting for Thompson with those choices.

I would like to see Hunter and Thompson team up at some point. I hope Hunter doesn’t slam Thompson to the point that he won’t have anything to do with him.

A Hunter/Thomson ticket would be my preference, but I’d take a Thompson/Hunter ticket any day over the other possibilities. These two men would make a great team!

If you want to say Fred is a johnny come lately about illegal immigration [after all he talked about it quite a while before declaring] then you’d have to call Hunter a johnny come lately on just about everything else that he has not been talking about [until recently].
Judges, foreign relations, social security, entitlement reform, limited government. The list is very long. Although some of these things I don’t know that he is even talking about now. I quit paying attention months ago, when just about the only thing on his website was the border fence.
That is a ridiculous charge. The more people who speak up on it, the more likely it will be that the fence will get built. Support is helpful, but you don’t want Hunter to have support on this issue.
To a lot of conservatives, this was not important until this past year. So you’re going to have to make this charge against a lot of people. A lot of freepers too. Seems like you really don’t want to get anything done.
