“They’re hurt by it.”
Feelings hurt and a man loses his job.

This is getting rediculous. As a young lad, I used to tie nooses all the time. I thought it was 'cool'. Anything racial never entered my mind.
This poor guy is terminated when they admit they, 'do not know what that noose meant'. What a FU world.

How come African “hyphen” Americans have a monopoly on nooses?

“. . . the officer couldn’t come up with a reasonable explanation for the noose.”
Freedom of speech?
Inarguably stupid, but I don’t see a constitutional mandate against stupidity.

Maybe the “couldn’t come up with a reason” is the media twist.
Maybe he figured there’s no way he has to explain it in the first place.
To: Tax-chick
Too dumb to be a cop. Yup.

I taught my 9 year old how to tie that knot, and my wife walked into the living room with his GI Joes hanging from the ceiling fan one day. Now I have to worry about him getting expelled out of the 3rd grade because he will take a shoelace off and show the other kids how to tie it.
And to think I took a gun to school in the 7th grade on the bus for "Weapons and Armament" class...
Times sure have changed.

This is getting rediculous. As a young lad, I used to tie nooses all the time. I thought it was 'cool'. Anything racial never entered my mind. Yeah, me too. I had one hanging from my rear-view mirror as a teenager. I never thought of it as a racial thing.
This PC business is out of control.
Pretty soon, blacks will be offended if we smile at them.

During the first days of the first Gulf War, my Father-in-law drew up a fine likeness of Sadaam and hung it by a noose from a pole outside his business. An African American woman stormed into his business and ordered he remove it as it was insenstive to all blacks.

We tied all the draw cords on the roll up window shades as nooses at my high school.

Pretty soon, blacks will be offended if we smile at them. Or if we don't. (They'll get to decide after the fact.)
