I’d be amazed if that commie rag had anything good to say about a Republican.

LOL. Talk about a reach. It sounds like Reagan’s, “We begin bombing in five minutes” during a microphone check. What a ridiculous article. I guess the British don’t share our sense of humor.

This ought to doom his candidacy for sure........

57 days until the selection process begins....
Where does your candidate stand in the mix?

I guess the British don’t share our sense of humor.

It's been that way ever since they composed "Yankee Doodle" to ridicule our Colonial troops, who then proceeded to sing it while whipping their a**es.

You gotta love him. At least he is a real guy who understands that the world doesn’t revolve around him, unlike most of his opponents.

The self-deprecating quip said much about the former Tennessee senator’s candidacy.

It was self deprecating and humorous. They are reading way too much into it. You'd never catch the female dictator wannabe saying such a thing.

True enough. Self-deprecating humor is the successful stock and trade of a successful American politician. Beware of those who can’t laugh at themselves or those that take themselves too seriously. Hillary is a prime example of the latter.

LOL! So the reporter interprets Fred's comment as saying he doesn't think he's going to be elected? I didn't see it that way. I saw it as Fred saying, "let's move this along, people!"

What is it with British newspapers? Do they just cull through US stuff and recycle it? This sounds for all the world like the previous article someone in the UK wrote wrote; too lazy, no fire in the belly, doesn't really want the job, underwhelming.

There's no journalism here, the reporter could have stayed home, searched out stories on the internet and called the story in. I guess they like their politicians with more flair; maybe that's why they liked x42 so much. No thanks. I'd rather have steady and thoughtful; what some call boring.

I’m not a Fredhead, but that remark by Thompson was funny and I appreciate his humor...as Larry the Cable Guy would say, “I don’t care who you are...that’s funny.”

Even though it’s a stupid article the Telegraph is anything but a “commie rag”. It’s not on the level of the Washington Times but it’s about as conservative a newspaper as you will find in England. That said, I repeat: It was a stupid article.

Ignore what the Brit newspaper is saying. They never forgave us for “leaving them”.

I like a good sense of humor, the author is anal.
