I am all for waterboarding Olbermann. At least if it was a perfect world that might be possible.

I saw part of this rant when I was channel-surfing during a boring O’reilly segment. Olberboy is seriously deranged and has some real anger problems, but the main fault lies with MSNBC for letting this cretin spout such slanderous drivel about the President of the United States. Even 20 years ago, no network would have let an “anchor” spew such a tirade of hatred and lies about the President, even as much as the MSM hated Reagan. Olberman is a sick, crazy loon. The FCC really needs to look into this.

Study after study for generation after generation has confirmed that torture gets people to talk, torture gets people to plead, torture gets people to break, but torture does not get them to tell the truth.

So I waterboard a terrorist. He gives me some Intel about were some of his cronies are hanging out. I send people to that location, and indeed, they are hanging out there. Are they still lying Obie? Keith Overmoon, today's worst person in the wooooorrrrrllllddddd!

"criminal conspiracy"

Olbermann's idiotic words are extend craziness further when one realizes that Shiek Khaled would like nothing better than to cut off Olbermann's head. That is after he had tortured the pompous fool. Olbermann epitomizes the deranged libs who with their peace at any price program and mercy to our sworn enemies are as dangerous as the I-fascists to our country.

Or the “criminal conspiracy” that was the Clinton administration. Self inflicted suicides (with shotguns to the back of the head) by those who crossed the Clinton's, Ron Brown dies in and air crash but has an obvious .45 bullet hole to his head, Vince Foster dies from a shot to the head.. but very little blood near the body, several of the SS detail of Clinton's election campaign dies over the next few years, a boy is shot in the back by FBI snipers who also kill his mother as she holds an infant, convicted Puerto Rican murders are pardoned, an indicted drug lord (also a Clinton fund contributer) is pardoned, a young Cuban refugee is taken at gun point by an FBI swat team to send back to Cuba, Hillary Clinton runs a “bimbo eruption” team to hold off the numerous women who will tell of Bill’s dalliances, several women are trash in the press— with the help of the press when the step forward with RAPE accusations against the president, the members of the white house travel office are accused of crimes to make room for a travel office run by FOB’s, 900+ FBI files on Republicans and other sitting members of government are kept in the white house by staff including Hillary, at critical times in the investigation and impeachment of Bill cruise missiles are shot at foreign countries at empty or nonexistent civilian targets, a civilian compound of a religious nature (albeit headed by a radical nut job) is attacked by APC’s and set on fire killing 90+ civilians including the ever dangerous infants and young women, Hillary makes $100,000 in futures trading using only $1000 in just a few months making her one of the best futures traders ever, 90+ friends - associates - and acquaintances of the Clinton's die in the eight years of the presidency (a statistical anomaly of 60 minutes proportions that is ignored by the press), a tainted blood scandal caused by aids and/or hep infected blood taken from Arkansas prisoners (under gov Clinton) causes numerous deaths... and is ignored by the press,

and on and on and on....

Olbermann is an idiot. Torture works — not in all cases — but it works.

You know...if Clinton was in there now and said and did all the things that Bush is doing...the media wouldn't have a problem with her.

A little slip allowing one’s insanity to show in public is one thing, but actually writing out one’s insane thoughts and putting them where millions can read them is quite another. How on earth can Olberman defend himself at his confinement hearing when we have the evidence right in front of us.

Clinton subcontracted torture out to counties such as Egypt so his hands wouldn’t be dirty. I’m sure they received much worse treatment then we are allowed to get away with.

Clinton or even Carter ever ban torture when they were presidents or did they allow it, either tacitly with a “wink wink” and a smirk or more openly.

I believe it was Clinton who began the practice of "rendition." Sending terror suspects to their homelands where they could be tortured by pros, while Clinton washed his hands (like another tyrant).

Even if we are waterboarding terrorists, and employing other interrogation techniques that could be classified as torture, we haven’t experienced any successful terrorist attacks on U. S. soil since 9/11/01, so who’s to say those techniques, if they are being employed, are not achieving the desired results?

I wish the war on islamofacism could be fought to protect only the Americans who find this twisted freak-dork nauseating. If Olbermann is alive because of waterboarding, as many of us might conceivably be, then the practice does have some drawbacks.

Someone tell this nut that in 2004 Chucky Schumer said it was ok to use waterboarding. It is used on out troops during training.

Waterboarding is not torture. It does not inflict "severe physical pain". Nor does it cause "prolonged mental harm".

18 U.S.C. § 2340:

(1) “torture” means an act committed by a person acting under the color of law specifically intended to inflict severe physical or mental pain or suffering (other than pain or suffering incidental to lawful sanctions) upon another person within his custody or physical control;

(2) “severe mental pain or suffering” means the prolonged mental harm caused by or resulting from—
(A) the intentional infliction or threatened infliction of severe physical pain or suffering;
(B) the administration or application, or threatened administration or application, of mind-altering substances or other procedures calculated to disrupt profoundly the senses or the personality;
(C) the threat of imminent death; or
(D) the threat that another person will imminently be subjected to death, severe physical pain or suffering, or the administration or application of mind-altering substances or other procedures calculated to disrupt profoundly the senses or personality; and

(3) “United States” means the several States of the United States, the District of Columbia, and the commonwealths, territories, and possessions of the United States.

Why were they waterboarded?

Why, to get information out of them, of course!

DUH!
